Merck & Co., Inc. and the HIV Vaccine Trials Network announce that vaccination and enrollment are being discontinued in the Phambili trial. The investigational vaccine has been found to be not effective. If you are a volunteer in Phambili, we encourage you to go to your clinic for follow-up visits.
